On-board Memorial Service

Your memorial service will be conducted according to your own wishes. Each memorial service is a unique and very personal experience. Upon arrival the entire group will be welcomed aboard and given an orientation by the Captain. Specific guidance will also be given to those who will actually be doing the scattering of remains. The Captain does not need to directly participate in the Service, but will oversee and assist you as needed.

Prior to the departure date the Captain will counsel the immediate family. He will make some suggestions as to how a memorial service may be conducted. Additional considerations will be discussed, to include flowers, music and photographic or video recording.

You will be sent a planning guide prior to the trip. This informative guide will help you plan for and carry out the final arrangements.
